VPEN Scholarship Recipents

  • SBMEF $2,000 Impact Scholarship Recipient : Briana Diaz
  • SBMEF $2,000 Outright Grant Scholarship Recipient - Gisele Wyble

I am currently in my first year of college at Victoria College. My future plans include becoming a physical therapist assistant. This is my academic interest and also my career interest. I enjoy learning about the body and in the physical therapist career field there is always something to be educated on. My career goal is to receive my Associate of Applied Science degree and work in a clinical type setting. The highest degree I would like to receive would be a bachelor degree if I decide I want to go back to school after I start my actual career. By May of 2017 I should be receiving my completed degree of interest.

Gisele Wyble Bio

Since I was a little girl I always enjoyed school. Instead of playing with dolls, I used to play school and complete worksheets. My cousins were my students and I would give them assignment’s and homework to complete. Their homework never got completed. My academic interests have always been education and that is why I am majoring with an education degree from early childhood through sixth grade. I am also interested in pursuing a certificate for special education. I have family members with special needs and they have pushed me to pursue the extra certificate. I also want to learn American Sign Language to help those children with hearing and communication difficulties. I want to be able to tailor myself so that I am able to be the best teacher I can possibly be.
